Meet Fever! one of Sweet Adelines' newest and exciting quartets!
Our Tenor is Christine Tenekjian. She's the cute, young, single, "hot babe" in the group! (Well ok, maybe we're all a little cute...) A UNC graduate student who will soon be a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist, Christine loves running, biking, kayaking, and hiking - you know all those sweaty things... She has sung for almost 3 years with the Carolina Harmony chorus and 8 years in college and high school choruses. One of her hottest adventures was taking a 5-week trip to the Australian Outback!
Lead, Debbie Mickunas, recently moved into her new hot tub - I mean house...needless to say where Fever's rehearals are being held! She's performed thru the years in musical comedies and childrens' theater (her real love), choreographed for Carolina Harmony, community theaters and high school shows as well as having sung 7 years with the quartet SHOWBIZ!. Debbie lives with her (hot!) husband Mark, teens Rob & Katie (who think they are hot!) and kitties Oreo and Cassie - who are very cool!
Karen Cason is the "hottest" member of the group. (Oh yes...What a special time of life!) Don't worry though, our Georgia peach never perspires - she just glows! An innocent little flyer for Carolina Harmony Chorus led to an incurable addiction to barbershop harmony. Karen has been quarteting for 14 years having sung with SHOWBIZ! quartet back in the 1990's. People have accused her of hearing voices, but she promises she only hears one...baritone! When not singing, shopping, or making jewelry, she's serving two teenagers and adoring her husband. Karen currently works as an ESL teacher to support her costly habits and speaks French - the language of sizzling love!

Singing bass is Terri Zwierzynski, otherwise known as Terri Z (it's just easier for all of us that way, isn't it?!) Originally from Dayton, Ohio, Terri has been singing barbershop for only two years-a mere babe by Sweet Adeline standards. Terri is a Solo Entrepreneur, feverishly running 2-1/2 businesses out of her home office (see them all: http://www.TerriZ.com). She is married and has two children, both of whom seem to have inherited the music gene. Terri also sings in the St. Michael's church choir, in the (traditionally men's) tenor section, and will be traveling to Rome in June, 2006 to sing in St. Peter's Basilica. How does she handle it all? No sweat!
